Ty is 5

Ty had a great 5th Birthday.  He had a Monster Truck cake, lots of balloons, fun with his friends, and fun with his family.  I took picture. A week later my SD card wouldn't work, so my sweet sister in law told me that I should format it and see if maybe that would help.  But only if I had downloaded all the pictures on it she warned.  OHHHH I'm sure I have, I mean I don't even know what could be on there.  Ok she said, cause it will wipe that sucker clean, oh yeah, I said, we are totally good... ha ha ha..... so today I went looking for those birthday pics, and guess what, gone-zo.  dang.  Good thing I had already downloaded these onto the computer, or I would be saying more than just, dang.

Ty I am so proud of the amazing little man you are becoming.  You are kind and funny, smart and determined, and adventurous but cautious.
You love to have a job to do, and you almost always stick with whatever it is until it's done.  You love to learn, and you can't wait to read (which you think will happen on the first day of kindergarten)  You love to be helpful, cooking, cleaning, putting things together, anything that requires team work.  You are always helping your sister, and she thinks that you are the coolest person ever.  I am so proud of you for being such a good big brother, It melts my heart.  I am so proud of everything you are, and have accomplished in the last five years.  But I am most grateful for all that you have taught me, and for choosing me to be your Mama.  If I have shown any patience in the last five years you have shown me twice that much more.  I love you to the moon and back, always.
And I love that today on the way to Preschool you asked me this:
"Mom, have you ever seen a monster truck crush a house?"   Nope
"How 'bout a squirrel? ever seen one smash a squirrel?"   Ummmm, no......
Happy, Happy Birthday Ty LaRue!!!

What a handsome guy! I can't believe they will be in Kindergarten next year! I am having a hard time believing it.

So sad about your sd card... I am so afraid of something like that happening to me.
